In 2003 trouble was on the horizon for young Brian Cunneff. The company that was keeping him employed, Roland House, had declared bankruptcy and was heading for liquidation. After 10 years of working for Roland House, working his way up from Assistant Audio Editor to Head of the Audio Department, Brian had become quite attached to this whole “gainfully employed” business. Neurons firing, he and Mark Haskins quickly set out to see if they could establish a “Plan B.”
Armed with his knowledge of facility engineering, his proven talents as an Audio Mixer, and his loyal client base, Brian believed that an independent post-production house, staffed by post-production professionals would become a creative retreat that would be able to turn out high quality results to even the most discerning of clients.
“Surely,” he thought aloud, “we can make this happen.”
“Of course we can,” replied Mark, “just stop calling me Shirley.”
