Brian Callahan

Brian Callahan is an experienced Audio Mixer and creative Sound Designer with over fifteen years in the post-production industries of Chicago and D.C.  His varied mixing resume includes television series for HGTV (“New Spaces”), Discovery (“Nightmare Next Door”) and Lifetime (“I’m Getting Married, But…”), numerous programs for National Geographic Explorer (“JFK: The Lost Bullet,” “Can the Gulf Survive?” “24 Hrs. After: Hiroshima”), and award–winning independent documentaries (“No. 4 Street of Our Lady,” “Breaking through the Clouds”).

Brian also worked in Chicago’s theater community, winning a Joseph Jefferson Award for Sound Design (Defiant Theater/ “Red Dragon” 1996), and designing a show for the world-famous Steppenwolf Theater (“Wolf Lullaby,” 1998). Brian is also a drummer, guitarist, and songwriter.
